
- All racers must sign a waiver and release of liability.
- Racers under the age of 18 need a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver and release of liability form and a photocopy of parent or legal guardian’s drivers license.
- A minimum height of 48” is required for junior karts and 55” for adult karts.
- Maximum of 7' tall and under 300 lbs to race.
- All new riders will receive a mandatory briefing session on indoor kart racing safety and regulations.
- All racers will be provided a helmet. Helmets must be worn AT ALL TIMES on the track. Racers may bring their own helmet so long as the helmet has a full face with 100% clear visor or goggles. All helmets must be labeled with D.O.T. and/or SNELL 2000 or greater certification stickers.
- Need 2 Speed enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding consumption of alcohol and driving at our facility. If an employee has reason to believe that the driver is under the influence, said driver must submit to a Breathalyzer test. Should the driver refuse to submit or should the test yield a value greater then 0.00 the driver will not be able to drive and will not receive a refund.
- Kart racing poses special risks to those with neck or back problems and heart conditions. Women who are pregnant and anyone who should not be in a stressful or physically demanding environment should consult their physician before driving. If you have any doubt, please check with your doctor before racing.
- Please remember that indoor Karting is real racing and not an amusement ride. Accidents can happen if you do not follow the rules and pay attention to flags.
- All racers must wear closed toe shoes and long hair must be pulled back into a ponytail.
- Never stop on the track for any reason.
- Need 2 Speed cannot emphasize enough that indoor kart racing is a non-contact sport. We do not tolerate any bumping or blocking of go karts. If you are unable to pass a kart, there is no excuse for contact.
